Ontario-born beauty Rachel McAdams is in Toronto to debut two films at TIFF this week and she joins our Matte Babel exclusively in our Festival Central Lounge to talk “Passion”. “It’s an honour… to have two films with directors I respect,” Rachel says of her movies being showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival.

“It’s great to be home,” she says, adding that she loves this film festival in particular. “Toronto is the best place to be. The Bell Lightbox is my favourite theatre.”

She tells ET Canada that working with director Brian De Palma on the erotic thriller, “Passion”, was a dream come true for her, as was working with Noomi Rapace. “Noomi brings so much to the table,” Rachel tells Matte. “She’s  fierce.”

As for how her role in “Passion” came about, the actress reveals: “Noomi brought it up to me while working together on the Sherlock Holmes film.”

The suspense flick is premiering on Tuesday at the Winter Garden Theatre. Tune-in to ET Canada on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for Rachel’s full exclusive interview with Matte!
